Realme 6 gets HD support for Netflix with the latest software update

The Realme 6 got its first software update two weeks ago, which bumped up the Android security patch level on the smartphone to March 5, 2020 and added 120 FPS slow-motion video recording for the front camera. Now the company has released another update for the Realme 6, which fixes an issue related to HD video streaming on third-party apps. The new firmware weighs around 320MB in size and sports version number RMX2001_11_B.17. It's rolling out over the air and should reach all the units in a week or two. Back in December last year, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi K30 and K30 5G in China. Out of the two devices, the higher-end Redmi K30 5G featured a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Building up on the design of its predecessor, the Redmi K30 5G featured a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate display with a dual-punch hole cutout for the front-facing cameras, a quad rear camera setup with Sony’s latest 64MP IMX 686 as the primary sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery. One of the hottest trends of 2019 and upcoming 2020 devices is high refresh rate displays. While Sharp had been playing around with such displays for a long time, Razer was the first OEM to put out a phone with a 120Hz LCD display in the western market.
