If you weren’t already aware, next week on June 3 at 8AM Pacific (11AM Eastern), Google’s Android team will host The Beta Launch Show for Android 11.

During the show, the Android team will go over new features for Android 11, answer questions from users using the #AskAndroid tag on Twitter, and of course, launch the public beta for Android 11. Next week will be a good week for Pixel owners.

Also on June 3, Google will be sharing 12 talks on a range of topics from Android Studio to Google Play. These talks were originally planned for Google I/O, so if you’re a developer, be sure to tune into those. Google just posted the full list of talks on the event page here.

POCO X2 and Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G forums are now open

Back in December last year, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi K30 and K30 5G in China. Out of the two devices, the higher-end Redmi K30 5G featured a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Building up on the design of its predecessor, the Redmi K30 5G featured a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate display with a dual-punch hole cutout for the front-facing cameras, a quad rear camera setup with Sony’s latest 64MP IMX 686 as the primary sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery. The device was released in four color variants at a starting price of CNY 1999 (~$284), making it one of the most affordable 5G devices in the market at the time.
