The next version of Android won’t only be for phones and tablets, as you probably guessed. Google still has its Android TV platform that will need to be ready as well, so today the company pushed the first Android 11 Developer Preview out to and its ADT-3 developer device.

The big changes here are…well, there aren’t any just yet. Google told us to expect “privacy, performance, accessibility, and connectivity features to help developers meet the needs of users,” many of whom are spending more time at home these days. In other words, the big UI overhaul we are hoping will arrive soon enough, isn’t here to preview.

I did flash the Android 11 preview for Android TV on my own ADT-3 to check for new stuff. I came up empty, but did see that this build includes the July Android security patch and build RP1A.200521.001.6516341.

Speaking of the ADT-3, it’s a pretty sweet little Android TV dongle device that costs just $79. Anyone can buy them today, and they might even be a preview of the upcoming Google-made Android TV dongle.

Alongside the release of Android 8.0 Oreo, Google unveiled Project Treble : a major rearchitecting in the way the Android OS framework and the vendor HALs and Linux kernel communicate. OnePlus 8T goes on sale in the US

The OnePlus 8T announced last week is now available for purchase in the US through OnePlus' online store with two color options - Lunar Silver and Aquamarine Green.
