Meizu 16Xs announced with triple camera, UD fingerprint reader and Snapdragon 675

Meizu accidentally leaked its Meizu 16Xs smartphone yesterday, but today it's announcing it for real. It brings a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED panel with 1080 x 2232px resolution, a fingerprint reader sitting and Snapdragon 675 with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The camera setup on the back is 48MP + 8MP + 5MP. The main 48MP unit has f/1.7 aperture, while the 8MP wide-angle unit features f/2.2 lens. Alongside the release of Android 8.0 Oreo, Google unveiled Project Treble : a major rearchitecting in the way the Android OS framework and the vendor HALs and Linux kernel communicate. Treble is a major initiative designed to reduce Android platform version and security patch fragmentation , and all Android-branded devices launching with Android Pie are required to support Project Treble. OEMs and vendors test Treble compatibility by booting a Generic System Image (GSI)—a pure stock build of Android from AOSP—and passing the Vendor Test Suite (VTS) and Compatibility Test Suite-on-Generic System Image (CTS-on-GSI). The OnePlus 8T announced last week is now available for purchase in the US through OnePlus' online store with two color options - Lunar Silver and Aquamarine Green.
