Another report points to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 not having a headphone jack or physical buttons

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is still several months away, but as with most Samsung phones, we’re already hearing plenty about it. We already know Verizon will carry the device and it will support 5G. There may even be multiple Note 10 models this year, just like the Galaxy S10. But two rumors stand out: no physical buttons and no headphone jack. A new report is doubling down on these claims.

The headphone jack removal rumor goes all the way back to October 2018. Admittedly, this is something that wouldn’t be terribly hard to get correct with a guess. However, the removal of physical buttons is a little more out of left field, and we first heard about it in March. A new report from Android Police is claiming that both of these removals are true.

The report claims that the Galaxy Note 10 will begin Samsung’s trip down the headphone jack removal road for flagship devices. They kept the jack on all three Galaxy S10 models. The volume keys, power button, and Bixby button will also be removed in favor of capacitive touch buttons like the HTC U12+. Those buttons are not very popular, so if true, we hope Samsung has a better implementation.

Android Police goes on to say that their sources have also confirmed the reports of multiple models. As mentioned, these rumors were already out there, but a new report adds more validity to the claims. The Galaxy line has been a place where Samsung can experiment with edgier features and the Galaxy Note 10 looks to be no different. What do you think of these rumors?
