Honor 20SE expected to arrive on September 4

The Honor 20 series which currently includes the vanilla 20, 20 Pro, 20i, and 20 lite is likely to be joined by a fifth smartphone next week - Honor 20SE. Honor is holding an event in China on September 4 where it will unveil a new 20 series smartphone. The company hasn't revealed anything about the product, but two unknown Honor smartphones, sporting model number YAL-AL50 and YAL-TL50, and said to be the 20SE recently appeared on TENAA revealing their specs and design. The specs include a 2.6 GHz octa-core processor believed to be the Kirin 980 which is coupled with up to 12GB...

While Samsung’s saga with the Galaxy Fold appears to finally be coming to an end , there are other foldables destined to be released soon. Alongside the release of Android 8.0 Oreo, Google unveiled Project Treble : a major rearchitecting in the way the Android OS framework and the vendor HALs and Linux kernel communicate. Treble is a major initiative designed to reduce Android platform version and security patch fragmentation , and all Android-branded devices launching with Android Pie are required to support Project Treble. OEMs and vendors test Treble compatibility by booting a Generic System Image (GSI)—a pure stock build of Android from AOSP—and passing the Vendor Test Suite (VTS) and Compatibility Test Suite-on-Generic System Image (CTS-on-GSI).
