Honor 20 Pro is Now Available in 14 Countries

The Honor 20 was off to a really rocky start with the controversial U.S.A. ban on HUAWEI. While the future of the phone was initially unclear, the planned launch of the phone is now in full swing. As this phone’s complicated launch slowly starts to be available around the world, here are all the places where you can get an Honor 20 Pro.

The Honor 20 Pro features the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The groundbreaking camera features four different sensors. There is a 48MP camera, 8MP telephoto camera, 16MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera is a single 32MP sensor. For the display, there is a 6.26″ LCD screen that features a hole-punch notch in the top right corner. Everything is powered by a 4000mAh battery.

The Honor 20 pro is scheduled to receive Magic UI 3.0 update which will bring Android Q to the phone. Our Editor-in-Chief, Mishaal Rahman, had the opportunity to try out EMUI 10 beta based on Android Q beta at the Huawei Developer Conference. The biggest change with this Android Q build is the ability to use a system-wide dark theme, with EMUI 10 even forcing this dark theme onto third-party apps, regardless of whether the app has added in a dark theme or not. Check out our video where we take a look at a day in the life of using the Honor 20 Pro. Adam explains that he uses his phone in a manner much like many people use a laptop. He’s always watching videos, using messaging apps, social network apps, and playing games. Adam took the Honor 20 Pro out on a pretty typical day that involved riding the train with poor reception and navigating around with Google Maps, both battery-draining tasks. We put the Honor 20 Pro’s camera to the test with video stabilization & night-mode photography. First, Daniel tried out the video stabilization in a few of the different modes you can shoot video with. The Honor 20 Pro utilizes both optical and electronic image stabilization to get pretty impressive results. There is a little bit of wobble to the video still, as you would expect, but for the most part, Honor does a great job at stabilizing things. You can see the results of the test in this video.
