Lenovo’s Cute Little $79 Smart Clock is a Step Closer to Release

Lenovo Smart Clock

Lenovo’s Smart Clock, the I-need-one-right-now Google Assistant-powered smart display that was announced at CES, is a step closer to release today. The Smart Clock stopped by the FCC for approval as we prepare for it to hit stores in the “spring.”

At $79, this looks like a great little smart home device. You get Google Assistant and all of the smart display tech that we love, only now it comes in a tiny package. The Lenovo Smart Clock has a 4″ touch display, so that you can set it by the bed as your alarm clock and not have it take up the entire nightstand. It’s covered in a soft cloth, sort of like the Google Home Hub, and should blend in nicely with your home decor.

At the FCC, we get confirmation on 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth, though not much else. But look, we know what the Lenovo Smart Clock is.

We’ll let you know when you can buy one!
